Yeah they all play at the same time so you get some difficult choices over who to pick.

Hopefully they'll do the live stream again. Would like to watch AC/DC and Aerosmith. I watched Faith No More last year and they were awesome. Limp Bizkit were good too.

http://www.downloadfestival.co.uk/lineup/index.aspx - Stage Times are up.

Tricky over who to pick some days.

This is what I'm thinking at the moment.

Friday - 36 Crazyfists, Killswitch Engage, Them Crooked Vultures, AC/DC

Saturday - Rock Sugar, Enuff Z'Nuff, Rage Against The Machine (Love to see Michael Monroe but he collides with Rage)

Sunday - Ratt, Saxon, Cinderella, Slash, Billy Idol, Motorhead, Stone Temple Pilots, Aerosmith.

Any good bands anyone thinks I've missed out who I should see, or bad choices I've made?

Obviously I'll be seeing more Saturday but those are the only ones which really strike me.  Any good recommendations then I can spotify them before I go.

That lineup is better than I realised. There's a fair few decent bands there. Can't argue with AC/DC, Aerosmith, Slash, Motorhead and STP. Never really been into RATM (other than Killing In The Name) but I guess I might have seen what they were like live if I was there....

I might have been tempted to check out that Lawnmower Deth, simply due to their name. ;D

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaack.

And I'm so far behind with wrestling, heck I haven't seen anything from last week since RAW.  Should have a fair few photos later, here is one I found on someone else's facebook with me looking hungover, saying that you'll notice that pattern on ALL the photos I'm in  ;D

Well pictures are on facebook for anyone who has added me on there, if you haven't then add me  :P

It was an epic weekend.  AC/DC was wild, I got knocked down like 6 times in the crowd, really near the front, very cool set.

I liked Killswitch Engage but they are one of my new favourite bands of the moment.

Slash was quality as was Myles Kennedy, they need to work together on a permanent basis, he is a top frontman, he nailed 4 great songs off the Slash album as well as Slither, Nightrain, Rocket Queen, Sweet Child O' Mine and Paradise City.

Five Finger Death Punch nearly had their set cut.  The frontman asked the crowd to jump the barrier and shake his hand, so many did the organisers cut the power and the set, although they let them do one more song when they talked the crowd back to the right side of the barrier.

The heavens opened up on the last day and it rained like crazy, Billy Idol was still very good though.  Aerosmith were ok, not amazing, I liked parts of their set but there weren't enough classic tunes, although Dream On live was a treat to see live.

Missed off some bands mentions but hey, I'm lazy  :P  Was **** after the final night too, didn't sleep until 7.20 and only made it 'til 9.20.

Good times!  :headbanger:

Near the stage while AC/DC are playing = madness. :steelchair: :stonecold: :boxing:
