Finlay too old?

Apparently...

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Finlay is no longer considered part of the active WWE roster. Vince McMahon feels he is too old to wrestle, but remains with the company as agent.

He's one of the best wrestlers on the roster but is too old, youth needs a chance to shine.  I understand the logic, he should still be used on house shows from time to time just so the young guys get the chance to work with a veteran like him and learn a lot from him, although I'm sure he does a lot of stuff in the ring with the guys pre-match, pre-show still.

Yet Ric Flair was still wrestling at 58? in WWE.

However, it is understandable

That was then, this is now, they are on a youth push at the moment, they wouldn't let Flair wrestle either now, and the difference is Flair's one of the all time greats (name value wise), Finlay is a career midcarder.
