Kinda like Orton can kick a dude in the head and that guy be out 3 months but Orton gets hit in the head with a sledgehammer and wrestles a gauntlet match the next night without a scratch

Thats just wrestling dude, inconsistencies and unrealistic stuff is part and parcel of it, sledgehammer's to the head would generally leave you dead.

The thing that always stands out to me is when Austin lifted Triple H up in that car, dropped it from a massive height and then the next night, Triple H was fine...
