Tag Teams for some guys are for life they just don't have single star potential but have great success as a team.

Many are for a few years, its a great way to get two guys over, its worked plenty of times.

Problem is Vince see's all the singles stars as the money makers and as he does with managers he thinks they are a thing of the past on the whole, it's a shame, I'm happy TNA respects it.

Back on topic hopefully the one positive from this injury is they do have some kind of meaningful angle/tournament for the sake of the belts, I doubt it though, they already seem to be planning Legacy's split.
