MVP has been released!
« on: October 19, 2010, 11:30:17 pm »
MVP continues to vent on his Twitter account. A fan asked him last night if he was happy in WWE. MVP responded, ?Not my finest hours but life is all about peaks & valleys! Tomorrow is a new day!?

Another fan asked MVP if he has lost his passion for wrestling. He replied: ?I LOVE wrestling! Not crazy about the ?business?.?

MVP later said the following about his relationship with WWE: ?All relationships have ups & downs. You work thru ?em. I?M NOT LEAVING! Let ?em speculate on that. I?m pretty candid!?

MVP got some more heat on him with WWE officials for his Twitter comments recently about not getting a push.

I think Hammy hacked MVP's twitter and posted those just so he'd get in the doghouse and score me no points.

I don't understand why these guys complain so much. u are getting paid more money than you would ever make doing anything else. So shut up and do your **** job. if that constitutes putting other guys over, then do it!

- MVP and Chris Jericho went back and forth a bit on Twitter this weekend and Jericho asked MVP, ?are you still with the company??

MVP replied with the following: ?Barely it would seem. Just barely.?

MVP posted the following on Twitter:

"We all have many dreams. Realizing one sometimes prevents you from realizing another. Decisions must be pondered & made ! No need for alarm. I did not get fired . I asked for & received my release. I felt it was time to go international & freshen things up."

I wonder if being the first guy eliminated in the Survivor Series Match in his hometown was related to any of this?.....

Always thought he worked better as a heel than a face myself.

Yeah but they always screw guys over in their hometown, its almost tradition.

Shame things never worked out for him, he showed so much potential, his peak was probably his fantastic feud with Matt Hardy.

MVP?s WWE departure didn?t come as a surprise to most within the company as he has talked about leaving for some time. MVP does have a 90-day non-compete clause with WWE and is talking on Twitter like he wants to wrestle in Japan.

Partial source: F4Wonline.com

On hearing of MVP?s release, Jim Ross took to Twitter:

MVP released 2day from WWE. Good guy who will do well going forward. He?s a survivor. http://www.jrsbarbq.com.

I have been following this MVP thing since it happen and from what I can tell MVP was just tired of the direction the WWE was going, and I also believe he had some people in his ear telling him it was time to leave the WWE.

Let's face the fact MVP was and will be the best talent for any company, and once his 90 days are up I think he will go to Japan like most of the former WWE wrestler and will find out that there is a whole different level of fans that will enjoy him even more than the ones in the WWE.

To be honest with you guys I hate the way the WWE and the way they treat their talent these days! Okay I was shock when The Miz won the title because there is ton of talent that title could have went on, but for some reason they put on the least talented person on the RAW roster. MVP may have not been Main Event status but I believe that if they would have given him a chance he would have done decent at the most, I mean after look at Sheamus he is a 2 time WWE champion!

Oh yeah D, it is not about being paid a ton of money and putting people over in wrestling it is about having fun entertaining the people, and you can not do that if you are not happy with the position you are in when you are wrestling.

My final point is this WWE has drop the ball on a lot of awesome talent and this is another example of the WWE dropping the ball again with MVP, because I would have made him a heel put World title or the WWE title on him and let him feud with Morrison or Randy Orton because MVP can draw money.

Don't worry in 90 days the commentators will be asking "What's Antonio Banks doing back in the Impact Zone?"  :P

Def agree Scotta on the Miz

that is dangerously close to David Arquette territory

**** goofy MTV Reality star holds a belt that Mr Perfect and Rowdy Roddy Piper never did.

Terrible.

Not to drag this too far off-topic but:

I'm not too bothered that certain guys have never held the WWE Title. I don't think it takes anything away from them. Maybe it's because I'm not particularly 'old school' but the fact that guys like Perfect or Steamboat or whoever never held the WWE Title isn't much of an issue. And while I'm not the biggest Miz fan, I think he's come a long way from being known as a 'goofy reality TV star'. Plus, the way that he won the title is believable, cashing in on Orton after a match.

Anyway, kind of fitting that the last thing P did on WWE TV was get Chokeslammed by Kane, seeing as that was who his first major feud was with.

It is not the point of who has held what belt or why the point is MVP had talent and to be honest it was not show the right way after he almost had to retire from that odd disease I think that may have made him more less of a main event in the eyes of certain people within the WWE.

As for him heading to TNA after his 90 days no wrestling thing I doubt it according to his twitter he seems to be content with going to Japan, and working for NJPW. Which I believe may be a good move for him considering that TNA would be a HUGE waste of his talent because TNA can not find it's ass right now!
