Franklin I thought won that first fight with Henderson. He isn't stupid like Bisping to circle into Dan's power hand.

Franklin wins this one

It was definately close, I thought Franklin had the best of it aswell. Henderson was just getting the takedowns and laying on top like usual. I hope Franklin KO's him this time.

Wanderlei Silva's (32-10-1 MMA, 2-5 UFC) first contest in the middleweight division will likely take place at UFC 105 in November.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) has learned from sources close to the event that Silva is currently in negotiations to face Michael Bisping (17-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) in the main event of the Spike TV-broadcast event. While bout agreements have not yet been distributed, company officials are hoping to officially announce the contest as soon as next week.

UFC 105 takes place at Manchester Evening News Arena in Manchester, England. The card airs in the U.S. on same-day tape delay.

The bout will be Silva's first in the middleweight division after spending the majority of his legendary career competing at over 200 pounds. "The Axe Murderer" made the first step toward the 185-pond limit in June, dropping a unanimous decision to Rich Franklin in a catchweight bout at 195 pounds.

I heard Bisping got scared after feeling Henderson's punches in the first minute and thats why he didn't listen to his corner, his mind went to ****, hence the back peddling.

Working on that theory, if what I've heard is true.  He.  Is.  ****.

He is a pro

I don't believe that

He is a pro
But if he has never felt power like that before.

Being a pro means nothing, guys get scared, it happens.  I'm just passing on what I've heard from people who know people.  Wand will come at him like a mad man and knock him out.  If it happens...

According to Silva’s manager via Fighter’s Only Magazine, Silva would prefer to wait until February 2010 before returning to action.

Here’s a snip:

“The rumors about Wanderlei fighting Michael Bisping at UFC 105 in Manchester or at any point are simply that, rumors. For some publication to say they have been given an exclusive statement on this from Team Wand is not truthful. This fight has not been discussed or offered to us by the UFC. Wand’s preference is to fight in February. He wants to take time off to heal his body and mind, and with his new gym in Las Vegas, he has business affairs and a growing team to attend to.”

Whether or not the middleweight contest comes to fruition now appears to be about timing, and of course, money.

Even though Silva has lost five of his last six fights, he’s an extremely aggressive and dangerous fighter who is capable of ending things early. In fact, “The Axe Murderer” has a technical knockout percentage of more than 70 in his 43 professional mixed martial arts bouts.

He’ll likely look to up that “Count” against a potential bout against Bisping … especially in front of a potentially hostile British crowd.

UFC 105 will be the first show held at the MEN Arena since UFC 70: “Nations Collide,” which featured one of the sport’s biggest upsets when Gabriel Gonzaga defeated Mirko Filipovic via crushing head kick.

It appears that the promotion is looking to ensure that United Kingdom fans are treated to even more fireworks, while stateside fans get to enjoy the show for free via tape-delay on Spike TV.

Whether it’s Silva or some other “big name” opponent for the local product, who is looking to get back in the 185-pound title picture sooner rather than later.

Dana White may not be out of the Tito Ortiz business after all.

While nothing is official at this time, and despite a “welcome back Tito” message on White’s Twitter account earlier this afternoon, “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” could “possibly” return to the Octagon sometime soon.

White clarified the situation, sort of, on ESPN 1100’s Radiothon just a few minutes ago.

Here’s a snip:

“Tito and I have been talking, and we’ve been trying to see if we can figure things out,. It’s a possibility…. I’ve said many times Tito and I have issues. We both need to grow up.”

I may not know much about UFC but if you believe what you read Tito got too big for his boots.

When a fighter's no1 focus is not Fighting then you have issues. I'd love to see him back but i think winning a title might be just too much for Tito now.... Bad back or not.

But i guess thats why White wants him back..... Alot of people will pay to see if he still has it

No.1 was Bonnar vs Griffin. No.2 was Hughes vs Trigg if I remember correctly.
