Im a huge Bret Hart fan but even im sceptical about him winning a title, the guy cant wrestle! And considering Bret Harts whole deal was his wrestling skill it kinda doesnt work. But still - i do love seeing him and im willing to hold out untill we see where it goes. And comparing Bret Harts situation to Scott Halls is stupid - completely differant. This run from Bret is more of a nostalgia trip for the fans and him to enjoy due to the dubious exits he had from WWE and WCW. Scott Hall is just your standard old wrestler - fat, slow and unwilling to give up the paycheck or the fame. In terms of Bret,  hopefully they just reign back on the in ring action and thats his last match. My prediction is he takes the GM job at RAW and vacates the belt due to conflict of intrest.

Bret is taking TV time and titles away from wrestlers who have busted their ass and earned it. so its no different imo.

Well to be fair to him - he has spent most of his time putting over the Hart Dynasty, they've gone from not really mattering to being a big focus of the product. Plus he's a WWE legend who hadnt been seen for 13 years, with all of his history it makes sense to bring him back.  I cant see Scott Hall's big reason for going to TNA being to put over young guys, nor is he a TNA legend whos return had been one of the most talked about things in wrestling for the past 10 years. Flair is more in the line of Bret Hart, a legendary figurehead who's there to appeal to older fans and to put over the younger guys, with the occasion match - even if it is abit embarassing at times. But yeh - im not convinced putting a title on him is a good move. The reason i hold out hope is that i cant see Bret Hart accepting a title without somehow it tying in too putting over younger guys, but time will have to tell.

He'll probaly just vacate the title on Raw and become GM and hold a US tournament title  tourney where some guy who needs a push will get it.  So they give him the US title for nostalgic purposes.  Miz was rarely defending that thing at this point if they push it into an important secondary belt then Hart's title "reign" will be justified, imo.

Bret as GM, well - it pleases the adult demographic but I wonder if this is anything more than that, simple box ticking

For a role that dictates a lot of talking, was he even a good choice?

I think I'd pick Bret over guest hosts of varying quality every week. And speaking of guest hosts, why are they still happening if Raw has a GM now? Who's in charge?? :weightlifting:

This GM thing must rank as the biggest disaster in WWE's history from a quality standpoint

It's been unbearable - that ep with Jeremy Piven and that other guy, wtf :crying:

Why are all Samoan wrestlers related to one another? That's one big extended family they have over there....

The pre-match segment with Santino was hilarious. The look on Kozlov's face when Santino said "Eve has promised to make love to you" was brilliant. :hihi: Santino seemed to get some of the biggest non-Cena cheers of the night.

I hope they're not planning on resurrecting the Vince/Bret rivalry. Hopefully they can just leave Bret as he is as the GM without bringing Vince into it again. I thought he was staying off TV for a while anyway??.....

Maybe I'm biased because I have them in the WWE Game, but I really liked them, thought they had some very promo skills.

I liked how they pointed out they weren't the typical crazy, uncivilised WWE Samoans. Seems WWE are realising that Samoans wear shoes and clothes just like us. :P

Good to see another tag team debut, though I wonder how long'll it be before the WWE can no longer resist the urge to break them up.... :steelchair:

That was an interesting end to Raw. Kinda cool seeing everything and everyone just destroyed like that.

Not sure about the rest though. WTF was going on in those guest host segments? Why were those two convinced they were their characters when everyone else was calling them by their real names? What was with the 'gas'? Why did IRS and Dusty Rhodes randomly get involved? Bleh.

And I know that Raw is bad for continual recaps but tonight seemed worse than usual. The announcers seemed to keep reminding us what we'd voted on (well, not me but my fellow viewers....) and what the outcomes were. I know what happened! I've been watching the show! :steelchair: :crying:

The Santino/Kozlov dance-off was kinda amusing I guess. :banananig:

What a terrible Raw

how shitty does that make John Cena look, that 10 dudes can whip his ass and not one person *Evan Bourne? Hello?* comes down to help...

Rampage in the ring and the Piper bit was awesome

rest sucked

I assumed that no one else came down to help because they would probably just end up getting their asses kicked too.
