If there are 4 games a year. I'd say run the first three as normal. or is we have 3 a year the first two as normal.

For the 4th game all World champions qualify automatically (max of 6) and then highest average score of the rest fill the rest for a super league.

Personally i don't care either way for a champion on champion thing, but if it was gonna happen make it the last game of the year. not every other game.

Plus we still haven't had a repeat yet, but should one happen it would be nice for someone to get some brand dominance i think.... then get knocked off and possibly find themselves on a different brand.

**** call one the X-Division and the other the Legends division,
Or FTW and Tapout. I think two divisions like wwehas with raw and SD is going to make the game so much more interesting.

First order of business should beto determine 2 commisioners and have them draft from us. The players who they want in the league and they remain commisioner until the end of the game and the world champ of that league becomes commisioner. Then inbetween games the commisionerscan trade talent between leagues and so forth. More excitement, morebelts, more players, thefuture...

So are we decided on this idea?

I love GNRfan's idea

here is how u have to look at it.

Both leagues need to count

A "B" league would lose interest quick cause it would suck to play for a spot in the next game......

Also, there will always be bitching. that is part of the fun

would u rather have someone WIN league A and another WIN league 2 and then have banter over who the best is

OR

have someone in the minor league outscore the winner of the main league and feel robbed.

Here is my final idea on top of GNRfan's

We can combine it into another mini "Stable" game as well

Hammy and I have won the most titles

So Hammy captains League Hammy
I captain league D

Change the names of course

Anyhow

WE draft our opponents

Hammy and I will go back and forth and we choose who we want in our stable thus also choosing our opponents.

someone gets their feelings hurt cause they are chosen last?? Draft well, win the game and use it as motivation

THEN

Whoever wins League Hammy, whoever wins League D then become the captains and they then do the same thing we did the previous league

they then choose their opponents/partners

Also there is a strategy involved

If I draft say EVO,Malcolm, Gnrfan or Cowbell, it would help me WIN the stable game possibly but they have won titles and have been very consistent... so in winning the stable war against Hammy, I make it tougher on myself to win the singles title and vice versa

if i take wooden spoon winners, I may have an easier road to the single's title, but will get creamed in the stable game...

I like Gnrfan's idea and think we should go for it, but also go for the random distribution of people amongst the 2 leagues, me and D drafting people seems head up your own arse egotistical.  Just a random split works fine.  The stable thing could work the game after with the 2 Champions being the leaders and such.

it isn't egotisitical, just  a cool twist u choose your teammates and opponents at the same time.

someone has to start

hell let it be whoever finishes 1-2 in this game.

Also since the same rosters are available to both games aren't the stable scores going to be pretty much the same?

I think with the next game, because its the first time doing something new like this its best just having it in its most basic form before we start bringing in theme'd gimmick games etc.

Well 1 and 2nd in this game cqnt be captains be captains the next as we need this game sorted and drafted beffore the current one ends.   keep it simple for the first game. have two captains and im in favor of them drafting as they are the GM of the league. i think have gms pick is going to be great because nothing would be better then being drafted last and winning ur league.

anyone got some ideas for league names?

I'm with Hammy! The more random the better. The champion of the leagues should not move but everyone else should be up for the move. We don't need captains. Think thats a silly idea.

I think the beauty of this game is that its simple. With new players coming in lets keep it that way. If we have 20 players, split it in to leagues of 10 and play. Down the road we can look at tweaking it or whatever or maybe have 1 gimmick game a year.... but lets just keep it simple.

If you want some sort of super league then i say do 4 leagues a year with the final game being the super league of sorts. however i think i'd be more in favour of 3 longer games with no super league. But i'm easy on that.

I don't think Stables will work in this format coz the scores will always be pretty much the same.

Somebody more cynical than myself may well say that it is merely my idea, delaying the A and B league, without the creation of a super league in the following game. Get my name on that patent dammit!
