The Undertaker vs Rock match isn't a bad idea, Izzy.
Or...

The next issue of Inside Wrestling features The Rock and John Cena on the cover of the magazine with a headline reading: “Hot WrestleMania Rumor - John Cena vs. The Rock.” The sister publication of Pro Wrestling Illustrated claims that the “mega-bout is closed to being signed.”

The article’s synopsis reads: “The relationship between The Rock and John Cena is strange. Cena respects all The Rock has accomplished yet seems to resent it at the same time. That is why “The Champ” is pining for a match with The Rock at WWE’s showcase event. Word is, this mega-bout is close to being signed.”

Sheamus vs Triple H?

Really cant see the point

Wrestlemania isnt about young stars its about the biggest stars, dragging out the big guns

Sheamus is already the champion so gains little from beating Triple H and Triple H would only undue all the work they have put into Sheamus by getting the win....

...and lets face it, no one cares about Sheamus, not even WWE, its just a gimmick because even they are bored of Cena

As for HBK v Undertaker - absurd! Taker will of course win so repeating last years match, how unoriginal is that? I think it will be Taker and Bret v HBK and Vince (which is actually worse...)

I agree about HHH vs Sheamus..... It would feel rushed now unless D-X lose the tag titles pretty quickly.

But they can be young and big! I like the idea of one title match with only big stars and one with at least one younger guy. I think WWE do care about Sheamus or they wouldn't of given him the title and put him over against Cena.

Sheamus would gain by beating HHH, especially at Wrestlemania! In fact i think by doing that it would put him a rung higher in the WWE internal standings. Just like when Cena made HHH & HBK tap.... everyone was like Wow! never thought i'd see that.

If i was them i wouldn't want to do it! It will be hard to beat their last match and Undertaker won't lose to HBK IMO.

I also don't like Taker's matches being for the title as his streak alone gives the match substance.

Edge vs Jericho..... Book It!

So if Rumours are to be believed:

HHH vs Sheamus (WWE Title)

Batista vs ??????? (World)

Cena vs ???????

Edge vs Jericho Or Christian & Edge vs Big Show & Jericho (World Tag Titles)

Bret vs Vince (Street Fight)

Taker vs HBK (Streak vs Mr Wrestlemania)

MITB (Morrison, Kofi, Shelton, Miz, CM Punk, Evan Bourne, Matt Hardy & Kane)

Orton vs Cody vs Ted (Ok well thats not a rumour thats just what i want)

Drew McIntrye vs Rey Mysterio (IC Title)

[Insert Generic Womens Match]

Obviously some gaps there but a Cena vs Batista match just wouldn't make sense to me.

Triple H in the main event? Check

''Celebrity'' involved in a match - well, Bret? Check

Batista in a worryingly prominent role on the card? Check

You may just have it

Not exactly my dream card, but the best that could from this... (in my view)

Undertaker vs. John Cena (World Title)

Triple H vs. Shawn Micheals (WWE Championship) - Special Guest Referee Bret Hart or Mr. McMahon

Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon (Street Fight)

Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase Jr. vs. Cody Rhodes

Bryan Danielson vs. Christian (ECW Title)

Rey Mysterio vs John Morrison vs. C.M. Punk (IC Title)

Chris Jericho vs Edge (Ladder Match)

I'm sure there's another thread for this...

...I think the other was spoilers free and was along the lines of, "How would you book someone into the Main Event @ 'Mania who's never been there?" or something like that....

Edge vs Jericho Or Christian & Edge vs Big Show & Jericho (World Tag Titles)

Does anyone else think that the Tag Match is a possibility?

If Show and Jericho can get the tag titles back (which could happen), Edge could return as the original partner of Jericho and then Edge has to find a partner and who better than Christian. The Tag titles are more of a 2nd Main Event title now and it would be a great way to get Christian off ECW and protect Edge's injury.

The ECW title won't get defended i dont think.... so unless they throw Christian in MITB then this at least gets him involved.

I think Edge vs Jericho would be an amazing match and some might say you waste them in a Tag match, But with Edge returning from injury and the current build up with Show and Jericho i can see the tag match being a option. Otherwise i fear all the good work of the tag titles in the last few months could be undone very quickly.

I'd prefer that match for Backlash.

Edge and Jericho, one-on-one could well steal the show, I don't want people adding to that match.

But my point is that maybe Edge's injury might dicate that, You don't want to have Edge out again because you did too much too fast with him. Plus i want the Tag Titles defended at Mania this year. They have only been defended once in the last 5 manias and i think thats ****.

I think it will be easier to start with a Tag Team rivalry and eventully turn it into two singles matches (Edge vs Jericho / Big Show vs Christian)

Maybe they can work it so the tag part of the feud takes place at No Way Out and the singles match @ Mania.

I think that could be a really good feud. The self-proclaimed best tag team in the world (Jeri-Show) vs 7 time champions (E&C)

If its to prevent him re-injurying himself then fairplay, but considering rumours have him back as soon as next month, I don't think it'll be a major problem.

I just think if he is back Next month the chances are he'll win the Rumble. The rumble basically is sitting in the corner and taking punches.... so if he is ready for full competition next month then i reckon he'll be back at the Rumble.

Its gonna be hard to go straight to a one-on-one feud as they would have to address the issue of Big Show IMO. And also if they have a one-on-one match what are you gonna do with Big Show?

Big Show vs Shaq haha.

I might be wrong but i can just see Jeri-Show as tag champs and Edge & Christian challenging them

Orton vs Cody vs Ted (Ok well thats not a rumour thats just what i want)

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that despite what happened on Raw last night, WWE still has plans to turn Ted DiBiase, Jr baby face in the near future. As of now, the creative team is holding off on his face turn until the Royal Rumble PPV, and there is early talk at this time of having him face Randy Orton at Wrestlemania 26.

I thought it was strange again on RAW, how, as usual, Cody looked stronger, I mean he had the far harder opponent, I originally thought it was set like that because he was going to lose then Ted would turn face saving Cody from an Orton beatdown.
