The opening segment was hilarious, heck
Hogan got really pissed off telling the fans "Well you only got so far with 6 sides...."

It was priceless, I don't think they thought the reaction to the new (old) ring would be that hostile, loved the segment though, made me hope Hogan was a heel, I mean faces with all the power aren't as good.
Opening match was solid, although its one of the most grounded
X-Division matches I've ever seen, maybe
Kendrick wasn't held back up North, his style doesn't seem any different. And as I said, enjoyable and solid as it was, it pales in comparison to the killer match
MCMG and
Generation Me had on thursday.
Morley came out, did his
Val Venis schtick and got hated on for it,
Daniels the heel, was the clear favourite even after tell the fans to stick it. I liked the match, Daniels dominated and looked strong, aside from losing, Morley sold the beating afterwards, hold his throat as Daniels had been working away with choke holds and such all match, you can't just review a show from someone else's review

Fans hated it though and when he won nearly all the front row had their backs to him.
The
Knockouts match did nothing for me, granted they are better than
WWE's lot but I'd of rather had more
X-Division stuff in this slot, or the hard hitting Women's Tag Champs.
I liked
Pope vs
Wolfe, old school, technical feel to the match, all about Wolfe working away on Pope's legs/knees to impair him from hitting his finisher, the old school psychology of working away on a body part and having some intelligence in a match works as a nice contrast to spot fests in other parts.
Tag Title Bout was an alright match, nice to see new Champions but I never really got that into it.
Williams carried the match for his team, and maybe's its because I'm paying more attention to the product now, but
Magnus looked really, really green, his selling looked plain awful.
The Band vs.
Beer Money was surprisingly fun, I even liked the end, it worked in character with
Scott Hall's problems.
Ken Anderson's appearance had me pumped, but as expected, as soon as he started wrestling my interest quickly vanished. He just isn't that good in the ring. And the crowd, who respect good wrestling saw that. They popped big style when he came out. 2 minutes in they were chanting overated and at other times were barely chanting anything as they were just plain bored. The dude is a good character but thats about it.
Superb Main Event, and having
Ric Flair align with
Styles is a great idea. Styles has been floundering as the babyface on top, something
had to change, Flair in this role can give him the much needed "Rub" and I like
D's idea, a stable, ala
Evolution of up and comers with Flair as their mentor is a great idea. Fact is Styles isn't much of a talker, so having Flair as his manager/mentor is perfect, I loved the look on Styles face when he turned to, truly a great moment.
Overall, decent show!
