I watched it again today and i think the SA match went wrong.

Who do you mean by famous faces? Hoping you don't mean Scott Hall coz he gets worse everytime i watch that segment.

It was cool to see Eric Bischoff, and also the NWO back together

Sting in the rafters, Val Venis not being a pathetic jobber - all great

but going head to head with RAW just hammers home all the thing TNA does wrong - the terrible camera work, embarrasing pyro, weak entrances, the horrible design of the impact zone, the 8 second matches, the over emphasis on the knockouts, the awful graphics, eric young

RAW was actually better than Impact was - it was focused and well executed, it even managed a good ending and this wasn't even a great RAW.

purely my opinion but this was the first time I've seen RAW beat impact for overall quality, I'd rather see Maryse strut her stuff than the 18th meeting of Tara and ODB this month alone and I'd rather watch DX v Jerishow than 2 knockout teams hurled togther for the night

maybe I'm just dispointed that TNA's flaws were still there despite a new 'creative direction'

it's a tad amusing though that TNA now has all the big stars and famous faces and WWE is the company with the young guys getting a push...

...and if I were a casual fan I'd be watching TNA for those golden oldies - whatever people are doing now doesn't top what guys like Sting and even Scott Hall were once doing

Nice, interesting (and good) news is the replay, in the usual thursday spot got a 0.9 which for a replay is great, heck its only a few points below their usual number anyway.

I can't find TNA announcing anywhere they had put it on YouTube - it's been there for days...

Bravo really hacked it to 2hours - been watching the sections missed

one point we haven't mentioned - barbed wire massacre was changed to abyss v joe

what does this suggest? Was this an idea Hogan vetoed? Was it dropped because of time?

I thought it sounded like an excellent way to show the difference between tna and impact - I'd hate to think we were losing the **** element from tna...

Metal Mayheam was advertised as well the the barbwire match, both were nixed storyline wise due to backstage attacks on participants, as far as I can guess, they never intended to put these matches on and they wouldn't of been canned so last minute, they were advertised at the start of the show, which is a bit of a cheap tactic to be honest.

Hmm, rumours abound that Bischoff's format promo was real - and he did change things live

I can't believe that the entire show wasn't planned to the min weeks ago and that Hogan and Bischoff sanctioned it all

...seems the 'changed' matches were better than what was kept....

Maybe as a one off, But not for a storyline surely!

Sting in the rafters, Val Venis not being a pathetic jobber - all great

Always loved Sting's role.

but going head to head with RAW just hammers home all the thing TNA does wrong - the terrible camera work, embarrasing pyro, weak entrances, the horrible design of the impact zone, the 8 second matches, the over emphasis on the knockouts, the awful graphics, eric young

haha poor old Eric Young... but i agree how Morgan does not have some sort of title is beyond me.

I'd rather see Maryse strut her stuff than the 18th meeting of Tara and ODB this month alone and I'd rather watch DX v Jerishow than 2 knockout teams hurled togther for the night

I'd rather watch Maryse strut her stuff than ever eat again. So i hear that!

maybe I'm just dispointed that TNA's flaws were still there despite a new 'creative direction'

it's a tad amusing though that TNA now has all the big stars and famous faces and WWE is the company with the young guys getting a push...

I know what you mean but i'd assume Hogan and Bischoff will address this and if they dont well they don't have a chance.

It is funny with the almost role reversal of the companies. WWE still have their old guys but use them well IMO. WWE has moved away from bringing older guys back at the top of the company which is a good thing. I hope TNA do the same!

...and if I were a casual fan I'd be watching TNA for those golden oldies - whatever people are doing now doesn't top what guys like Sting and even Scott Hall were once doing

Scott Hall IMO was the worst thing on Impact and made me feel sad for him, me and Impact. I used to be such a Razor fan but he is a shell of that man not only in look but in demenior.

I can't imagine anyone thinking i'll tune into Impact for Scott Hall when there are people like Angle, AJ, Hogan, Jeff Hardy & MCMG on the program.... just can't see what he or waltman for that matter brings to the show.

now that ive had time to digest it

i do see the flaws and **** ups

I was screaming the whole time.. why wait so long to show Kurt Angle?

They should've had Angle on right after Hogan to keep the momentum.

Every good company needs a starting point and i hope this is TNA's. Its easy to say what went wrong but there was more than just "some" good. Hogan was brilliant, AJ vs Kurt showcased what TNA can do, Jeff Hardy & Showed the Womens divison to be miles better than WWE's.

If you take those good bits and play up to them the better quality matches will do the rest IMO. This is a long haul and anyone that expects TNA to be challenging RAW every week straight away may be disapointed. Get some good feuds going:

AJ vs Morgan

Kurt vs Joe

Hogan vs nWo (i hope they just throw the nWo out, but if they have to stay then make Hogan go against them)

Jeff Hardy vs X-divison... starting with Homicide and working his way to the top.

Build Abyss up again

MCMG's - Get the tag titles on them and let them have a series of good matches against Beer Money

MOVE TO MONDAY NIGHTS!!!!!

Think those are all excellent ideas

...though I would mark for a Hogan heel turn to the NWO, taking over and kicking Dixie out...

One Impact left before the PPV, they are a bit last minute with announcing the matches, at least they have plenty of existing feuds so it won't be all December to Dismember

Bravo's coverage sucked anyway, I'd of torrented it anyway.

You managed the download eventually dude, by the sounds of it your codecs are old since you don't use video/audio stuff much on your comp.  Download "VLC Media Player", just google it.
